Course Description

Provides "hands-on" training in the use of spreadsheet software on computers to solve accounting problems. Applies previously acquired accounting skills and knowledge. Emphasizes financial and managerial accounting.

Enrollment in this course through EDvance is a non-credit option, however course is available for credit. In order to receive college credit, participants must successfully complete course with a "C" or better.

 

 

Prerequisites

Successful completion of Spreadsheets in Accounting (ACC 155), Introduction to Managerial Accounting (ACC 202) and Introduction to Business Computing (BUSN 150) or Digital Tools for the Info World (ICS 101), or equivalent experience.

Recommended: Business Calculations (BUSN 188) or equivalent experience.

Required: Access to a PC with high-speed internet access and Excel 2021 or Microsoft 365. The PC version of Excel is highly recommended due to compatibility issues with the Mac iOS platform.
