Course Description

You will learn how to create your own special European style cookies and learn the art of a perfect cookie dough. You will make your own batch of cookies and take home special treats with various fillings and toppings to enjoy.  

Learner Outcomes

After completion, students will be able to:

Understand the basic baking and cookie mixing techniques

Make several various cookies and toppings

Understand the safety procedures of a bake shop

Identify tools and equipment

Notes

As a safety precaution, participants in all culinary classes are required to wear covered, non-slip shoes (e.g. athletic shoes) and comfortable long pants. Aprons or any other personal items may also be brought to class. The college will not be held responsible if such items are lost or stolen.
