BUS1009 - Typing Certification

Course Description

These Typing Certification sessions provide the opportunity to participate in a proctored proficiency exam.  Proof of typing proficiency is required during recruitment by a variety of employers, including the State and County of Hawaii. 

Two-year validity certificates are issued with a minimum of 40 net words per minute.  The best score of three 5-minute attempts will be entered on the certificate.

COVID-19 Preparedness:

Wearing a face mask while on campus is currently optional.

If you are feeling sick or are exhibiting symptoms of COVID-19, based on self-monitoring, or have had contact with anyone confirmed with COVID-19, please refrain from coming on campus. Simply email our office (edvance@hawaii.edu) to have your registration held in suspense until you determine it is safe for you to attend typing certification.
